The security-development nexus dictates that countries need to enhance and maintain a security platform conducive to facilitating trade and other economic activities, the travel industry, and maintaining and attracting investment. Also, the lack of security in any given region or sub-region can impact adversely on the national security of each country in that region or sub-region. CWA will provide ideas and solutions on security strategy designed to assist governments, sub-regional and regional groupings to ensure the safety and security of their citizenry and economic interests. CWA will review, assess and analyze border control and security platforms for sustainable development, and develop solutions to meet specific requirements. CWA will also provide advice to governments, regional and sub-regional organizations on required and available technical expertise and other resources appropriate to specific security capacity building requirements.

A government’s need to communicate its policies in a coherent manner in order to avoid misunderstandings of policies or to affect the outcome of policy development related to its bi-lateral relations is on-going. In some instances this may be facilitated through its embassy personnel. However, their limitations in terms of familiarity and experience in the host country often limit their effectiveness. CWA’s principal and associates have over thirty years of experience operating in the corridors of government in Washington, DC, and among the Caribbean Diaspora in the United States. We will provide advice and create plans and execution strategies for effective policy communication on behalf of governments to target audiences. CWA will use its extensive expertise and outreach in different environments to liaise with critical decision-makers in government, private sector, and non-governmental organization communities on behalf of clients.
